何必當初
曾蔭權接受英國《金融時報》訪問表示，期望香港人口增加至1000萬，較現時的600餘萬人上升四成，以達至紐約及倫敦等國際金融中心的規模。回想1999年終審庭裁定居港人士子女有居港權時，政府慌忙搬出合資格的港人內地子女數目超過167萬來「勸導」市民反對裁決，又要求人大釋法，令香港獨立司法的聲譽大受打擊。
早知今天要1000萬人口，當初又何必對這167萬港人內地子女大費周章﹖
